Dear Alumni,
Betas at USC participate in leadership development to facilitate learning and personal growth. Specifically, actives attend the General Convention where they meet Betas from other chapters and learn important techniques in chapter management.
Attendance at various leadership conferences can be expensive for the actives. We pay out-of-pocket for the admission charges and airfare. The Beta Theta Pi Scholastic Foundation of Southern California generously reimburses members for most of these fees. Furthermore, the foundation contributes to the financing of essential house improvements and maintenance.
To commemorate the USC chapter and add to the Trust's growth, Trustees Larry Stone and John Williams created a unique USC Gamma Tau watch, which are available to Gamma Tau alumni. Revenue from the sale of the watches goes to the Foundation. The Foundation does its part to foster a culture of responsibility in the Gamma Tau chapter of Beta Theta Pi.
I ask for your support in strengthening the Trust's resources to assure the continued growth of this storied chapter. The watches retail for $100. All proceeds will go straight back to support the Gamma Tau chapter. And $70 of this donation can be tax deductible.
In this section you can find an order form. There are instructions on that sheet for purchases.
If you have any questions regarding the watch, please email me at prrymeek@yahoo.com or pmeek@usc.edu or call me at (626)755-1898 with questions.
Yours in __kai__,
