Welcome to the Gamma Tau chapter of Beta Theta Pi located at the University of Southern California. Here at Gamma Tau, we strive to foster a brotherhood that stresses the importance of academics, philanthropy, leadership, and social success.
Our house wide GPA is among the highest of USC's social and leadership fraternities with an average of 3.29, which is higher than the all row average and the all men's average.
Each year we help to prepare then take part in the Swim with Mike fundraiser, a scholarship program for disabled athletes organized by Gamma Tau Alumnus Ron Orr. As part of our annual contribution we hold our own philanthropy, Beta Beach, during which sorority women compete in a variety of events to raise money and awareness for the cause.
During the school year we remain socially active featuring a variety of sorority mixers, house invites, and football tailgates. Our social calendar is highlighted by our annual Spring Formal to Las Vegas, which had over 90 brothers in attendance this past spring.
Members of our fraternity are leaders inside and outside of campus life, and our chapter continues to be enriched by its diversity. Brothers participate in varsity athletics, honor societies, local internships, ROTC programs, and a variety of other campus organizations.
Amongst our variety of endeavors we strive for excellence and balance, while continuing to bring the best of USC and Greek life together under one roof.
Beta Theta Pi is one of the most storied Fraternities at USC. Beta has spent over sixty years cultivating the minds and character of its members, and today the undergrads of Gamma Tau continue pushing the limits in all areas of fraternal and University life. As a fraternity it is our goal to create a tight group of brothers that are brothers for life. With this, we provide an opportunity for personal development while serving the greater community. It's our individuals that make us successful, but it's the strength of our brotherhood that truly sets us apart.
Long Live the Beta Fraternity!
